write again soon but mails are liable to be very irregular from now on.

I have not received my lens from Reid yet and  we have received mail posted in auckland July 5th.  It doesn’t matter much though.  Mrs Musker could not have seen our bunks  if she gave that description of them.

Well, I’ll be jolly glad when I get the other half of my return ticket punched.  I have seen enough of this war.  It looks a lot better 15,000 miles off.  We cabled you on arrival. I suppose you told Mrs Musker & Aunt Bella (think this is what he wote)
