He is having a fairly easy time a distance back from the line attached to a unit in <a class=\"tooltips\" title=\"Billets were lodgings for soldiers.\" href=\"#\"><span style=\"color: #9c3300;\">billetts<\/span><\/a>.  He had seen Alec Young, Norman Matheson, and some others he knew.  He had not got any mail for two months, so that might explain why I never got any from him.  Neil was at the convalesent depot the last I heard, and Mack is still at Sling.  I will be here sometime yet as I have been deferred twice from the draft  going to Sling.
