June 2nd 1966
Dear Vic,
I intended to leave time to write a letter, but last minute things have caught up with me and I have only time for a hasty note to say that we are off to England today by sea arriving there on my seventieth birthday. My address will be
N.H.SMITH
ROYAL SOCIETIES CLUB,
100 PICCADILLY, LONDON, W1
I hope all your family are keeping well – mine are including three grandchildren. We expect to return to NZ late in the year
All the best
Yours
Neil
